Brazil stocks lower at close of trade; IBOVESPA stock index

The Brazilian stock market was lower on Wednesday, with falling sectors such as real estate, consumption and finance leading the stock index lower.
At the close in Brazil, the Brazilian IBOVESPA stock index fell by 0.99%.
The best performer among the Brazilian IBOVESPA stock indexes was National Steel Products (SA:CSNA3), which rose 3.84% (0.39 points) and closed at 10.55. At the same time, Yale (SA:CIEL3) rose 2.59% (0.28 points) to close at 11.10; Tim Mobile (SA:TIMP3) rose 1.84% (0.22 points) and closed at 12.17.
The weakest performer was ESTACIO PART ON NM (SA:ESTC3), which was up 5.00% (1.47 points) and closed at 27.92. Engie Brasil Energia SA (SA:EGIE3) fell 4.88% (2.17 points) to close at 42.33; B2W Vallega (SA:BTOW3) closed down 4.63% (2.20 points) at 45.35.
A total of 259 stocks fell on the São Paulo Stock Exchange in Brazil, surpassing the number of high-end stocks – 147, while 27 stocks were unchanged and were basically unchanged.
CBOE Brazil Etf Volatility, which measures the implied volatility of Brazilian IBOVESPA stock index options, fell 0.38% to 31.70.
